Another NAMM show, and another game of "spot the celebrity." Curiously, this time, the "celebrities" were also spotting me. I don't have a clue who this guy is, but he spotted me.

This guy who, I must confess is in some band I never heard of, also spotted me.

Another celebrity spotting me spotting him... at least I know who this one is. It's legendary Latin percussionist Armando Peraza.

This celebrity didn't spot me, which is probably a good thing. Supposedly he's in the band "Slipknot." I say "supposedly" because, honestly, anyone could be behind that mask.

If this guy's hoping to get an audition with "Slipknot," he's got a lot of costume work ahead of him.

Basically, the deal at NAMM is this: If you want a lot of people to visit your booth, hire a rock star to sign autographs.

No rock star = lonely booth personnel.

No rock star's presence could ever convince anyone that this product is a good idea.
